Installed it today and had a brief ride about 20 miles of stop and go, straight stuff and Mtn roads. This really fixes the twitchy, jerky, unsafe acceleration and deceleration I only had about 800 miles on the bike before you reflashed it but I had already decided the this Versys wasn’t for me, Shoodaben Engineering was the last cent I thought I’d spend on the bike but combined with the 16t sprocket this has been transformed into a peppy smooth fun predictable ride that is a blast to ride in canyons, open highway and commuter type stop and go traffic, this has saved my versys from being in the classifieds on Craigslist right now. I can honestly say imo this is the first/ best enhancement you could possibly perform and a fraction of the cost of a performance exhaust and filter

So which year is it? I have a 2018 and I dont like the jerky acceleration either!

 

I have a 2018 and my experience was the same as Dbron. Before the flash I had jerky acceleration and terrible low speed throttle control. I liked the bike but I didn't love it. After the flash, I really like the bike and really love riding again. My mistake was not having it done three years ago.

 

My bike is a 2016, all Gen 3 bikes seem to have this issue, thanks to Alton5787 for mentioning the low speed intolerance more like on/off switch with heavy decel, Lordy it’s worth it 🤪

A quick search let to PN 21175-0204?

Best peek deeper to see how easy access is...then can look for myself. Just wanted to get it to a chap who did the flash on my MT09 before, with his woolich gimcracks, to see if/what he can do with mine. Rev limiter and engine mega decel is a little annoying, perhaps for the best though, but would like to get an idea on the cost of whatever can be made...a bit smoother.
