I read where some people have checked the Kawi website to see if their bike is covered under the extended warranty and I can't seem to find out how to do it. I've been all around the site and can't find anything like that.
Can anyone explain how to check your warranty status from Kawi's website?
On a side note, I was reading the exclusions of the warranty and I found the last one a bit disconcerting.... It said failures due to wear and deterioration (including loss of compression) from operation of the vehicle are not covered. If that's so, what's the point of the "unlimited mileage" provision? I bought the 5 year plan because I plan on having the bike for a while and I put a lot of miles (15-20K a year) on it. If 4 years from now when the bike has 80K on it and, say, the cam chain starts knocking are they going to tell me it's not covered because the failure is due to "wear from operating" the vehicle?
