The kid eating a stick of butter is actually a well-known fake. It works so well because there are so many jaw-dropping old ads of that style that aren't.
I growed up in ******* Floriduh, it's real. :ROFLMAO:

View attachment 195729 View attachment 195730 Hello All:

I kept seeing a drop or two of what I thought was motor oil, appearing on my garage floor. At first I thought it was coming from the an oil crankcase vent hose hanging down... But, then I realized what it really is. Pretty sure this area has never been apart since day one.
Can somebody please explain what this is and if it is an issue? I had this happen recently (fluid appearing on the floor) and I do admit I have not had a chain driven bike for many years so I am no doubt over lubricating

I mean what is that a picture of, and does it present an issue?

I’m actually pretty smart but useless when it comes to anything mechanical so need to ask stupid questions or I’ll never learn

im having mine serviced in a couple of week so want to mention it
The front sprocket cover with an accumulation of greasy crude build up that should be cleaned, it happens and I personally remove and check when servicing the chain so there's no build up. Issues, rubbing on the chain removing lubrication, depositing the crude back on, adding wear, on and on :)

The pictures were from my drive gear cover. I saw this dripping on my floor, and at first glance thought it was from the engine crankcase breather. But then realized it was coming from the cover packed with grease and oil
