I saw an article on the initial planning back in the summer, but haven't seen an update until now -- thanks for sharing 👍🏻

Good article, hope she makes it trouble free
Bikes and guns and women have a lot in common, my wife doesn't ride but shoots, neither of the two attract a lot of women but when she goes to the range she's the center of attention, especially when she out shoots most there.

Cool update. Hope she makes it. Russia sounds a bit sketchy, but perhaps better than Iran. Maybe she‘ll find her way here?

Traveling alone is the most dangerous thing a woman can do. You just never know who you might meet.
I am reminded of two young Australian guys who went surfing in Mexico, traveling and living out of their van. They found the van but never any trace of the two guys.
Yes, best stay home with your head under the covers- the boogie man will get you!

I don’t say this out of fear, or prejudice. I say this out of literally being robbed dozens of times by the Policia while in Mexico. Besides that, I got along great with everyone and enjoyed my time there.

And here I thought dating and one night stands was the most dangerous thing a woman can do. Definitely hear more going wrong in those scenarios than women travelling alone.

I guess I run under the assumption that it is actually more dangerous for a man to travel alone than for a woman to travel alone because of the simple fact that the average human that was raised with any sense of morality goes into protection mode for females, but doesn't for males.

I also believe that a majority of females that run into trouble are those who think it is OK to party while traveling alone instead of staying away from cities and major tourist areas.

... the average human that was raised with any sense of morality ...
I hear ya ... and agree. I am concerned that the numbers of those raised with any sense of morality is waning.

Shout out to all the parents that raise their children to do good and help others. (y)

The good news is that their demands aren’t extensive. I learned to always carry 200 & 500 pesos in separate locations. 200 was most commonly the price. Other times 500 in order to avoid arrest, roughly $20 or $50 USD.
Crime was always driving while ******. No laws were ever broken. It’s best to just hire a local driver you can trust when possible. Cabs are also available but come with some risk.
This from 4 very different locations while working there in the automobile industry over 7 years. Same story: Hermosillo, Saltillo, Puebla, Tepoztlan. I have not visited the tourist side of Mexico.
