Hi guys, i need the original cable with original connectors of the rear stop light. Specifically, I need the cable with this connectors, but I can't find it anywhere. The dealer says that kawasaki doesn't sell the cable only, but I have to buy the complete stop light package!
Do you know where I can buy it? I have a 2018 Versys, it's a unique cable with 2 different connectors to its end, one goes on the stop light and the other goes to the proper connector under the seat

Explain what you are doing, photo isn't accurate enough. Here are two sources :Kawasaki connectors & Terminals

I cutter, for error, the blu and black stop's wire while I'm trying to install the led light kit for my top box. Now I need the cable of the stop light, the original one. At its extremity it has those 2 connectors. One goes to the stop light, and the other ones goes to the under seat connection.

What prevents you from repairing (soldering, etc.) the cable that you have cut?

Butt Splice

a photo of my 2015 front harness to the right turn signal and headlight, being spiced extended, as it is about 7 inches too short from the factory.

what a proper crimp should look like using the T&B

The fact that the wires are too short, really. I'm not an expert, so it was a miracle that I fixed it.

If this is difficult for you, I humbly believe that you should get help from someone who is skilled with motorcycle repairs, etc. Even if you need to pay, this will permit you to watch, learn, etc.

Good luck! :)

Failure is a learning curve, so sometimes you need to take the plunge and see what happens , but fear will always tell not to do it. Overcome the fear and you will be good one day. "ROME WAS NOT BUILD IN ONE DAY"

You both right! For this reason I'm searching a stop light cable, but I can't find it anywhere and my dealer told me that Kawasaki doesn't sell it alone, but with the complete stop light kit

if you want the original parts or connectors, the only place i usually find is at scarp center where they total car/bikes or second scrap dealers, otherwise its totally impossible to find OEM connectors separately as most of us will DIY.

You can try your local bike repair shops and see if they have one which they are willing to part with , (not the Kawa dealers.)

Don't know if you realize, Kawasaki uses many of the same connectors and harnesses on multiple bikes, the KLR and Ninja are found in local scrap yards for motorcycles far more than a Versys . Take the harness with you, it may also be on Ebay.https://www.ebay.com/itm/1986-86-87-KAWASAKI-ZX1000-NINJA-1000R-TAIL-LIGHT-SIGNAL-HARNESS-WIRIING-LOOM/332773656312?fits=Model:Ninja+1000R|Make:Kawasaki&hash=item4d7adb06f8:g:n4EAAOSwhxNbe2Jd:rk:27:pf:0

I had a look at the parts diagram manual, if you cut what I think you cut,( the wire that goes to the tail and brake light) you will need to remove the tail light and have someone repair it. Possibly some high school has equipment that could solder this together.
