I was doing the air box modifications and found this plugged line that appears to go nowhere when I started putting it back together. Can anyone enlighten me as to it's function and where it might possibly go?

It is a drain tube for water build up in the plastic housing (helps prevent required removal).
The tube runs down in the same area as the battery overflow drain.

Ok

So I assume it does not connect with anything? It just hangs down?

Thanks for clearing that up for me. I sure do like this board. A lot of help out there.

Oh yeah, it collects any aerated oil blown up in the crankcase vent right beside it. You can remove the black plug at the end if you ever need to drain it.
