Greetings,

I’m sure your dealer or Kawasaki has informed you by mail or email to come in and address this issue. If not make sure you’re safe by doing it yourself and making sure every bolt is buttoned up. I'm almost positive that this pertains to Versys. If not please someone correct me!

I went to My Kawasaki on kawaski.com and didn't see any outstanding recall notices for my VIN.

I purchased about a week ago, but don't know how long the bike was sitting at dealer.

I had a recall on my 2004 KLR 650 regarding the two muffler bolts... re-tighten to 18Ftlbs, but nothing yet about the versys :D

recall

You can look up your VIN on the Kawasaki.com site and see if any issues are outstanding for your model.

You can also look up all your part numbers if you need to fix or replace anything.
I spoke to my Kawasaki dealer and he told me their has been no recalls on the versys, but he does recall an exhaust ( muffler ) problem last year on a different model,,,,
