After I've done a bit of modding the last few weeks I'd like to report in.

Installed a full Muzzy exhaust system, PCIII (tried a bunch of maps), PAIR blocked off, 46 tooth sprocket installed, givi windscreen.

Full Muzzy system paired with the PCIII and the *Full Arrow* map off the PC website. Holy F'ing Smokes. Power delivery is amazingly smooth! It feels like the motor revs quicker (I know it isn't) but now that the bike is getting the correct amount of fuel it plain out hauls! And I am still getting around 45mpg.

With the PAIR blocked off, it further aids in slow speed and decel smoothness. I know this because I blocked it off after about 3 weeks of running the full exhaust system and PCIII. It does make a difference.

Stock sprocket is the way to go! Cruising at 75-80 mph around 5400rpm, nice and smooth. Before with the 43 tooth I was in the 4k rev range where the motor was all sorts of buzzy. Enjoying the around town power kick as well! With the 43 it felt plain slow and sluggish... I think this was the major factor in me thinking about selling the V all winter. Once the sprocket was change, so did my mind. I'm keeping it for at least another season!

Givi wind screen. I've had a stocker, and a DL windscreen. Both never worked correctly for me. The Givi and my Madstad bracket provide zero buffeting.

Full exhaust and PCIII - Get yourself one :)
Block off the PAIR system as well!

Switch back to the stock sprocket if you have a 44 tooth on there, you'll thank me later!

And keep your eyes peeled for a Givi screen (if you ride a first gen!)

The only thing I can find wrong with this bike is the dang cowling buzz from 3300-3900rpm. So. Annoying.

what's this anti 44t heresy?? I am having mine installed along with the PC5..my mechanic is an ex-honda race team tuner and I trust him more than internet postings...A Yoshi exhaust is going on at the same time (rear wheel was coming off for this so I had the mechanic throw on the sprocket too)...I'll be taking a 700 mile trip in June..and report after that...:D

That Muzzy megaphone silencer sure is loud... I slapped a custom Magnaflow silencer with welded Yoshimura outlet on my Myzzy header. :thumb:

The Muzzy system isn't all that loud. But then again all my bikes have chopped down exhausts...

The 43 tooth was way too low. I think the 44 tooth would be too low for my liking now.
To each his own though... The Power Commander should be a must on all the Versys out there. :)
