I'm about 30-40 minutes from about 200 different lakes(only because Minnesota calls everything a lake :grin2:) so it's not too bad around here... just no mountains :crying:

Ok... I have to weigh in here...

I'm about 30 minutes from the north Georgia mountains... the Suches Loop, and the 5 passes... Blue Ridge Parkway... Another couple hours to the Tail of the Dragon (where my avatar was taken), Moonshiner's Run, Cherohala Skyway... on and on...

North Ga is a biker's Nirvana...

Familiar with them....Use to live in S.Carolina. My dads from Hazard,Ky, Lots of relatives in Tennessee,Virgina, W.Virginia,Ohio, and i had a mountain cabin in Franklin TN. So I've seen lots of good roads. But being born in N.Texas it was a huge thing to see them for the first time.
