trying to post on changing spark plugs in 2015 versys 650 since i couldn't find it but they are making me jump through hoops

FYI Read The Rules

still trying to post spark plugs diy... running out of patients, is this a waste of time? starting to think it is...
Statements like yours can be misunderstood and end in getting banned, as to posting, I provide several links, if it was easy, this site would be overrun with spammers and porn, there is neither here, which is why the rules have been put in place. You can try posting in this thread, which is your thread, I can copy it or move it. As to starting multiple threads, you don't get extra brownie points for that, you will notice I merged them.

I don't know about a thread on changing the plugs...............my problem is that I can't find the "plugs".

I've already got the download Eddie..........I just hate electronic books, and my laptop can't get WIFI in my tin shop.

I've never had a bike before that you had to remove a ton of stuff in order to change plugs. The one thing I really dislike about the Versys.

I would agree with you if it was another bike, as to the Versys, my 07 saw a plug change when I sold it at 30,000 KM, which included a valve shim check, vacuum sync. To be honest, the plugs looked like new, and several have gone 60,ooo KM on a set of plugs, my take on it is I am already in there doing a valve shim, change the plugs too! Your comment about finding the plugs could be taken a different way like we are riding a Yamaha 2 stroke that needs a plug change, every 2000 KM.

I usually like to check plug condition every 10K miles or so.............it's a good indicator of overall engine condition. Spending 1 1/2-2 hours to check plugs is "annoying" to say the least.

I will give you a little advice, when I discover any new way of doing things or better ways I try and share that knowledge, many times I have received the same from this forum. I had someone suggest that I bring my vacuum lines out permanently. I did a post in the How To Forum under valve shim. As a early warning it was pointed out that vacuum sync can tell a lot about what is going on inside , especially if you do a check specific to your bike last time you had it apart, that is record exact RPM, at temperature, ambient temperature , mileage etc. I can check this after warm up roughly 10 minutes start to finish and be riding . The cost was roughly $6 plus my carbtune vacuum gauges at $130.
