This is so sad.

I was thinking about riding up to the Paradise area (after a few months) to see the destruction and efforts of recovery. Some times when we hear about a tragedy, we're shocked but then forget about the aftermath. Right now, the response for helping the people is fantastic, hopefully it continues.

The road is still intact. Looks pretty good. It should all grow back, greener than before... At least, there should be fewer snakes out there now.

Was a beautiful area. Used to ride all those canyons when I lived in Santa Barbara. Glad to hear the rock store made it ok. Neptunes net made it out alive too but just barely.

The next event will be mud slides until the vegetation grows back.

Thanks for sharing. Were you on the bike?

No, This was a video that rnickymouse posted. Traffic around that area will be a pain for sometime. So i won't be out that way for awhile...
