I would suggest that THAT statement is NOT necessarily true. The people who make the most mistakes are the people who accomplish the most.

A lot of people are so scared of making mistakes they don't take chances and quite often quit, achieving very little in the process. The achievers learn from their mistakes and push on. Because they push on, they not only make more mistakes, they learn from those mistakes and accomplish the task and because of that accomplishment, they take on new tasks.I would suggest that THAT statement is NOT necessarily true.
on the other hand, i've learned quite a bit from other peoples' mistakes, and along with my own experience, helps to define the starting gate and direction. The achievers learn from their mistakes and push on...
nope...clean, scuff, epoxy or etching primer, Summit urethane, Summit clear. Summit urethane is great, just don't spray it in cold temps like i occasionally do. use fast activator. if you have some spray painting skills, you might be surprised by the results you can get for a finish.Speaking of... JD I'm guessing you strip the frame down to metal prior to applying the Summit Single Stage. Is this correct?
Excited to see it! I just crashed my versys the other day, thinking of modding it out this winteri'm starting to think about the 2023 Versys.
let the build begin, we'll need some photos.Excited to see it! I just crashed my versys the other day, thinking of modding it out this winter...
Depends how ambitious I get! We’ll see, I also like the gen 3 klrs, just worried about lack of powerlet the build begin, we'll need some photos.
a built Versys outperforms any generation KLR....I also like the gen 3 klrs, just worried about lack of power.
yes im just not sure i have the patience to build my versysa built Versys outperforms any generation KLR.
you can build your 2012 into a really strong performer by just doing the easy swaps...forks, shock, swingarm, wheels. there are a few other things to do, but you avoid the time consuming custom fab work since the bike retains the generally stock appearance.I've been thinking of selling my 2012 and buying two Gen1 bikes. Build one, ride one. Already have my Ninja swingarm waiting on the bench. Or maybe just mod my 2012![]()
you can always sell your wrecked bike to me for really, really, really cheap money...and i do mean really cheap.yes im just not sure i have the patience to build my versys![]()
Now I don’t know about that! It’s just the fairing and coolant tank that’s broken. Fairing will probably be zip tiedyou can always sell your wrecked bike to me for really, really, really cheap money...and i do mean really cheap.
in that case, use them high end zip ties for that custom look, it's a thing...Now I don’t know about that! It’s just the fairing and coolant tank that’s broken. Fairing will probably be zip tied
Per RyanF9, 300X has the same power to weight ratio and top speed as KLR.a built Versys outperforms any generation KLR.
