How can someone reverse into a bike, knock it onto another car and then just piss off and not notice.
I park in the same space every day, and have done for nearly 20 years without any bother.
It's too FCUK ing dark to see if there is any damage. I think the Givi E45 took the full force of the fall. Have to wait till Friday to get it checked properly
Some people just need f'ing putting down

Not being a smartass or anything, but that's why I don't park on the street.

It wasn't on the street, but in the car park near to where I work.
Park the bike in the same spot everyday. I think I might find another spot

I actually had that fear when I bought my bike. I decided that $50 a month to park it in the garage at work was cheap piece of mind. Buck fiddy a day is ok with me.

Thats a cryin' shame Darren...wouldn't want to be the fella with black scuffs on his bumper that parks anywhere near your spot in the near future....he might be seein' some stars, eh!

At least you weren't sitting on it!

Some people have no honesty, watch a women in a big SUV backed into a small parked car one day, she got out like she was going to leave a note on windscreen, looked around to see if anyone was coming then calmly got back in suv and drove off, was not quick enough to get her number plate.

Some poor sap comes back to find a ding up front bumper and the insurance will want you to identify the culprit first before they pay out

My car has been hit while parked FOUR TIMES in the last 12 months. All different locations, two of the four were in private, off street lots. Was fortunate that the guilty party owned up and paid for the damage on two of the occasions. I was on my own the other two. Just waiting for it to happen to one of my bikes. People are inconsiderate, unaware, selfish a-holes sometimes. But Karma's a bitch.

Sorry to hear that Darren! That is a bunch of B.S. in my book! I was driving the cage and a guy just bumped into me from behind two days ago at a stop. It was enough force to move my car forward a little but not enough to do damage to either car. I just told him to have a nice day, shook his hand, and left it at that. Though, if I were to see someone do that to my bike....IT'S ON!

sorry to hear about the hit. it just ruins your day when after a long hard day at work, you come to your ride to find that it has been violated.

I think I've been lucky! No apparent damage to the bike, and I saw the car again today and looked at where my bike had hit and all seems ok.
And I have found out that the car my bike was resting against belongs to a fellow biker.!
I just hope SWMBO can get here pals on the local PD to search the CCTV and send the boys in blue to knock on their door. ( my fiancé works for the local PD as a custody officer )
