HI,
New to this forum and to my versys. Throttle is very snatchy. Been told by those who are knowledgeable, which I’m not, that I need the ECU flashed. Looking for advice as to who/where to send it for this. Thanks all.

Send it off to Steve (Shoodaben Engineering). I can't speak highly enough about what a difference his ECU flash makes.

I've just adapted to it, a higher gear when going slow.

It's no where near as snatchy as early gen Ducati Scrambler.

If you don't want to flash the ECU maybe by a throttle tube with a ramp up fitting. Various brands around but you want a cable section that has a SMALLER diameter than the OEM.

Make sure you don't have to much free play in the throttle cable.

Ive got Steves flash and its good for several things. Like Pita said, a throttle tamer can help the snatchiness. Steves flash defeats the Throttle Fuel Decel (engine brake) which is really nice.

The Shoodaben flash transformed the performance. A huge improvement beyond just the snatchy throttle by adding smoothness (and torque?) at lower rpm, making it much more rideable at lower speeds around town.

I can't recommend Steve's re-flash service enough. Everything else seems like a half-measure by comparison. My 2015 was completely transformed.

I noticed this issue at some level with pretty much every fuel injected bike I rode. The Versys is particularly snatchy, but 1200 miles in, I already got used to it.

Indeed, the throttle had too much free play to my liking from factory. The first adjustment I made when I got home from the dealer.
