Personally, I would be careful of this. A shorter spring is going to reduce suspension travel, which may result in bottoming the shock more than normal, which isn't desirable. How the spring is described in your link is also misleading, since shortening suspension travel in the rear does not lead to reduced ground clearance. However, installing such a mod would probably require raising the fork tubes in the triple clamps to get the bike to sit level and handle properly. THAT would reduce ground clearance. If you're not unhappy with the spring rate of the stock shock I would go with Speedy's lowering block (I'm a poet and I know it).

I believe you are incorrect: a shorter spring will INCREASE 'static sag' so that what is forward of the swing-arm pivot WILL be closer to the ground.
