The stockers finally died at 7k miles. Put the Shinko 704/705 tires on. They rumble way harder than I thought they would up to about 30, they are quite chunky even though they don't really look it. 140 on the back now, no noticable loss or gain in acceleration dry weather handling is much better than the worn to the bone IRC tires, feels confident. Haven't gone off-road. Wet weather is not inspiring but they are literally brand new just mounted. Braking seems a little degraded I think, too early to tell need to break them in. Overall happy at the moment. I also swapped out the tubes for new HD tubes. The old ones had a surprising amount of rust on the stems in the part that was inside the wheel and couldn't be seen not like horrible still surprising.
