On my 300, the Corbin (Canyon Dual Sport) seat seems to do what you want this one to do. It really cradles my posterior and it has the "carbon fiber" type material that is grippy. (Some really don't like the grip ... and like a flat seat that allows sliding back and forth ... but so far, I'm a fan of the Corbin).

I've seen a lot of posts on the 650s about shimming the bracket where the seat attaches on the front to raise the seat and keep it more level / stop the sliding - should be possible on the 1000 also ... may help, and would be reversible if it didn't pan out. (pun intended)
