Just about to hit 1000 break in miles and will be ready for the
6k to 10k rpm release. I would just like to know from people who have
already been there. What can I expect out of the V, lets say up against
the suzuki boulevards c50 or the 109 also Harley 1200 sportster types.
The kawaski cruisers and maybe the 4 cyclinder 600 cc gsx suzuki.
At work there are all kinds of bikes and at the on ramp there will
eventually be the Roll on Test. In the neighborhood of 30 mph
to 90 or maybe a 100 mph not any more than this though.
I haven,t been there yet. Would anyone like to share any experiences.
or should I just let the big guns alone and stay below 70mph?.

You should do well on roll on, especially up against GSX 600 which will probably catch up at higher speeds. My buddy's R1200RT boxer twin does pull away from me though, especially at highway speeds and up... Yours could've been better if you had given it a good quick break in. http://www.mototuneusa.com/break_in_secrets.htm
I was redlining it by 100 Kms and changed oil at 231 Kms. I'm now switching to synthetic at 2100 Kms, and it didn't consume any oil since last oil change.
