I have read all these replies and actually have taken the time to go on Motorcycle Ergonomics and compared all the bikes everyone has suggested. I was surprised the versys x300 is actually taller then the versys 650. On the Versys 650 I would need and additional 1 inch riser with a 1 inch pull back to prevent me form leaning forward, does anyone know what comes stock on the bike? Also, do they make risers that will allow for this and will the cables reach for this modification? I would be almost 1.5 inches short to be able to flat foot the bike but I know that I can do this seeing I have ridden this bike and could probably find boots that would help seeing I only wear work boots.

Also, on the versys 300x I would need an additional half inch rise with an half inch pull back if I even bothered with only a 2 degree lean not sure that would matter that much. I would need an additional 2 inch heal to flat foot this bike so I feel while it is taller I still could get used to this bike. It would just be more of a learning curve and would have to get different boots.

The other bike that was mentioned was the KLR 650. This bike is the same height as the versys 300x, but I would have zero lean forward. This is the least of my favorite bike by looks but will be one I will try because comfort is more important then looks.

The other bike that most people suggested was he CB500X this bike I can flat foot stuck and with an additional half inch riser I can have a zero degree forward lean. I have not ruled any of the suggestions and I am reading about all to be more informed and trying to decide what bike would suit me best for my style of riding. If anyone recommend a women's or men's boot as long as they do not look like a man's boot I that would add additional height without a 2 inch heal I would appreciate it. I used to be able to find boots with a platform when I rode my Harley but wore them out and cannot find them now.
I did compare the other bikes also bu went on their forums to get recommendations.

I have seen on this forum that you can add the MotoWerk 2 inch riser without any cable changes (other than you might have to take the cables out of the clip that holds them to the forks). As said above, the original handlebar clamp is angled towards you at about a 45 degree angle. That with the chance to rotate the bars in the clamp can get them toward you and up higher. I added the 1 inch riser (10 min job with two people) and have really enjoyed it. Not sure you need your upper torso completely vertical, that would be like a cruiser sitting position. Good Luck!

I've got ROX 3 1/2" risers on my 650 (2015) and all I had to do was move the clutch cable behind the triple tree instead of in front. Anything less should install without any problem.

I have 2" ROX RISERS on each of my V650s, one w/ vibration-reducing rubber, one w/out. These can be "rotated" around the mount to allow the handle-bars to be FORWARD or AFT of the OEM location, and I choose to have them directly ABOVE that OEM location (I'm 5'10", 31" inseam) as I like to stand on the pegs when in dirt.

NO problems w/ the 2" rise on my V650s, Gen 1 and Gen 3.

The risers on the 650 are curved back so if you add risers they go up and back
ONLY if using the motowerk risers. W/ ROX it's your choice!
