I got some very inexpensive combat style boots for riding. They are absolutely perfect in fit, finish, and comfort, on the bike and off the bike. But not being motorcycle boots, the leather is starting to wear a little where I contact the shift lever. Has anybody every re-enforced that area on the left boot by either gluing something to the area or having a shoe repair place sew an extra piece of leather on the boot. They are SO comfy, I will do anything to increase their longevity. :smile2:

I had a pair that started to wear out like that.Took them to a leather "saddle shoe shop "and they were able to fix them.
