Had an impromptu ride after work today after work. Helped my brother find the trailhead for a hiking route he wanted to try ...

That always seems a nice place to ride; is that the Battlefield park?

This one is just a little south and east of the battlefield park ... out in the middle of nowhere ! (I live about halfway in between)

Ok I see... 219 on the grey-ish sign there. According to the U.S. Forest Service maps... it just ends after a few thousand feet? Or are there un-mapped connectors to other roads?

1.8 miles to where it dead ends at the hiking trailhead (at a power line crossing) ... nothing connected unless you get off the bike and go 2 feet instead of 2 wheels (since I follow rules). If you had a dirt bike (and mad off road skills) and no regard for signs, "restricted to motor vehicles" ... I'm sure that power line trail would be a blast.
