I’m in the UK, so no Ricohet dealers here. I got it via EBay from a dealer in the USA. Expensive with import taxes but needed as I’ve been green laning & my alloy crap plate I made myself got beat up on a couple of rocky bumps. I got it from dualsportarmory, for $229 + shipping & import taxes. You can buy direct from the Ricochet website, they will ship internationally.
Do you mean the engine protectors ? They are modified a little. The left one only needs a small D cut out of the bottom wher the rubber anti vibration mount goes. The right side needs a flap made or cut out for the same & a small rectangle taken off the bottom rear to clear the rear mount. I decided to cut a bigger section out to allow access to the oil drain bolt without removing the side cover. The right one fits easily, the left one is awkward to get one bolt in, but never has to be removed normally, so worth the faff, you could always drill a hole to access it more easily if you need to. A couple of pics attached.
So having done some serious green landing whilst I’ve been between contracts for the last few weeks I found the Ricochet skid plate a fantastic add on. The size of the rocks the front wheel can throw up needs to be seen to be believed. But in the wet or muddy areas, the three front vents in the front bash plate allow all the spray from the wheel to coat the headers & engine.
So I have added a secondary plate to cover those vents, but spaced so air can still flow. See the pics. Also falling off can do strange things to your brake lever, all fixed and a folding tip ordered to hopefully prevent the issue in future & it will be wired to the bash plate to further reduce the likelihood of a recurrence.
