Having ridden BMW's for the last 25 years , i have just part exed my bmw r1200cl (2003) cruiser for a 2015 klz 1000 versys BFF.
I now have a bike that's 80 kilo's lighter, twice the BHP, a centrestand, abs brakes that work. This bike is really comfy, it looks great, cheaper to insure, better all round handling, so much quieter and did i say its easy to ride.
Why i didn't do it earlier i can't say but i'm in now. What a great machine :grin2::grin2::grin2::grin2:

Welcome aboard from a Versys and BMW owner. I assume you bought the right hand drive version? :grin2:

That's what we used to call the older British bikes that had the gear lever on the right and rear brake on the left. Took forever to get used to that! Oh wait, I don't believe I ever really did. :wink2:

Possibly BECAUSE you were drinking the BMW "cool-aid" then.
