I have read on here about how the signals will bust the fairing on a tip over and would like to stop the problem. Could you good folks recommend a replacement to use?

R&G Racing micro LED. You'll need an adapter of some sort to get any replacement to physically fit into the fairing. R&G used to sell specific adapters, idk if they still do. Also for LED you will need resistors to have the correct flash rate. Inexpensive plug and play can be found easily that have bullet style electrical connectors that plug into the existing wiring. Super easy. Or you can buy an adjustable flasher to replace the existing flasher. All are simple solutions, easier than it sounds.

Just remove the metal parts at the rear of the signal, then reinstall W/OUT them.
