Took a trip from Grand Forks, BC to go see the Red Bull Hard Enduro race in Alberta.
Took the free ferry across Upper Arrow Lake
Camped the first night in Glacier National Park
Then on to Drumheller and Steveville in the prairies
3 days of racing was a lot of fun. Strongly recommend anyone who has the chance to check out a race like this to do so, even if motorcycles aren't your thing.
Point of interest in Vulcan
Highway 40 through the foothills. Was hoping to see a bit more wildlife, but this had to do:
I didn't end up taking many more pictures after this, as our plans to camp at Chinook lake fell through due to heavy smoke from forest fires. End result was a 13 and a half hour ride, for nearly 800km. The last hour ended up being through a thunderstorm, with hail to bruise my knuckles, and visibility down to 15 feet at one point. But we made it home in one piece.
