A few days ago i have added my radiator guard. Found one on E-bay that didn't cost me an arm and a leg.

Also added something i gathered during the last few weeks, i saw an example on YouTube and thought it might be handy.

A video over WiFi transmitter, a cheap rearview camera, some spare time and now i have a rear view camera running on my Samsung Galaxy S6 (but any other android or apple device shold work)

The hardware:

And the end result:

The camera: https://nl.aliexpress.com/item/170-Degrees-Wide-View-Angle-HD-CCD-Mini-Waterproof-Universal-Rear-Front-Side-Car-Parking-Backup/32658086129.html?spm=2114.13010608.0.0.ZdfBE6&detailNewVersion=&categoryId=200000201

The WIFI transmitter: https://nl.aliexpress.com/item/WishRing-Wifi-Car-Backup-Camera-Realtime-Video-Transmitter-for-iPhone-HTC-Android-903W-DC-Interface/32671982366.html?spm=2114.13010608.0.0.ZdfBE6

And the app on the Google playstore:https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=zeng.hrs.carwifiav&hl=nl

Well i have done my first drive with the rearview camera, and i have to say it's bloody brilliant.
Quality is pretty decent, every now and then you have a 1 second hick up but it's nothing annoying. Did a 23 minute drive to my parents appartment and the file was 322 MB large. Quality for viewing isn't to bad.

And a link to a youtube video i uploaded to see the quality. Nothing fancy just a 23 minute long boring clip of the rearview on my Versys.

And a night time version

Very nice! Is it possible to stream more than one camera signal?

I have no idea, there is only 1 video in plug on the wifiav transmitter.
Not sure what happens if you split that into 2

Great job! I've been meaning to do something like this on my other bike as well, do you know if there is an iOS equivalent app of this? Does the transmitter add a lot of weight?

Thanks, it still works like a charm.
It's even easier then i thought, when ever i left the house i changed the wifi server and then opened the app, now i found out i can just open the app and start driving. Within a few km's the wifi will automatically switch to the WIFI server and the app will start running.
Weight, it's less then a pack of smokes, so nearly nothing.
No idea about the Ios, i tend to stay away from apple as far as i can :laugh2:
