For Christmas my wife got me a membership in the Harbor Freight Tools "Inside Track" club. I do enough shopping there that it made sense.

Anyway, I see their rear swingarm stand in the ITC (that's cool guy speak for Inside Track Club.. haha) flyer for 25 bucks. She also happened to give me a $10 gift card, so off to HF I went to pick up a stand for some work on my bike (see my other thread about the Nelson Riff CL-850 bags).

I do have spools on the bike, but this stand doesn't support them. It still works fine though, and for $15 out of pocket I can't complain. Its plenty sturdy and does it's job just fine.

If you're looking for a bargain rear stand then this is the trick!

For $5.99 you can purchase the HF spools that work fine with the stand.

i have the spools.. this isn't their aluminum low profile spool stand, it's the one with paddles that sit under the swing arm. to my knowledge they don't offer the inserts that accept the spool instead of the paddles under the swingarm. you can see what i'm talking about in the photo below.

i might make them myself if i get a wild hair and have the time..

Spool Stand

I have the HF low profile aluminum stand that uses the spools. That is what I thought that you were talking about.
I have seen conversion parts to convert your stand to a spool stand.:goodluck:
