To the folks who have installed a Power Commander V...

I am having a heck of a time trying to remove the Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) connector. It just seems stuck and I don't know if there is a clip that needs to be pushed in further to get it loose. Any suggestions or tips?

Yes, that would work perfectly. Also good for douching out frozen handlebar switches on old sun baked commuters that never get shade or covers.

Okay, how exactly would you apply the silicone spray? I am assuming you would just apply a little bit between the two connectors in the area that is clipped together? Thanks.

Apply liberally if you want. Won't hurt anything, but yes, between the two plastic pieces. I just went out to my Ninja and Versys to figure out how you could be having so much trouble. Both my TPS connectors came off no problem. With right thumb, press down on center of the connector as it faces you. With left digits, grasp connector and wiggle pull to rear of bike. Slides right off?

The silicone spray did the trick!! Plus I discovered there was a small pebble stuck in spot where the clip flexes that I needed to remove. Thanks for advice.
