How did you like that Himalayan? I really like most of the things about it... and the looks, but was afraid of long term reliability 🤔

It's pretty much bullet proof; it is made to be ridden on the world's harshest roads. I rode it on goat trails. The rear rack mount broke, partly because it wasn't made robust enough and partly because I over loaded it by manufacturer standards.

The fix was fairly simple:
Hood Luggage and bags Motor vehicle Automotive tire Automotive lighting

Tire Wheel Vehicle Automotive lighting Automotive tire


Compared to the WeeVersys, it is a little slower and heavier.

I owned my '19 Himalayan for 6000 miles and only sold it because of the used market and it funded the KLX300SM purchase. I miss it.
One of the guys I rode with has 30,000 miles on his '18 Himalayan and rode the entire Trans America Trail on it.
The low seat height is a big plus when riding off road.

It was also one of the few bikes I have owned where I was happy with the stock suspension.
