I picked up an 09 yesterday. It is in very good condition with 15000 miles. But now after reading all the posts on stator and regulator problems I am hesitant to ride any distance until I upgrade these parts. Should I just not worry about it, or go ahead and test the stator and replace the regulator as a preventive measure?
