Welcome sourjon. Another older rider here. Have found great information at this forum; those posting very helpful and most seem to have a sense of humor.

Well I'll be 60 in two weeks so I guess I'm older than a lot of folks! I picked the bike up today and rode it for the first time. Love the bike but it seems kinda cramped. I know I need to do a search but anybody lowered the pegs?

Check out the lowered pegs on Speedy's site: http://www.shop.motowerk.com/Lowering-Foot-Pegs-Blocks-K-FPG-LWR-RA.htm. They work great for taking the strain off of tired old hips. I've got almost half a dozen years on you and I found the pegs really helped. If fact, take a look over the motowerk.com site, he has a bunch of farkles that help make the Versys better.

I've found that site and it looks good. Also want some of these from Twisted throttle. But $158!! Ouch!
SW-MOTECH On-Road/Off-Road Footpegs

Anybody using another offroad type peg that's cheaper?
