Hello all,

Just getting back into riding after very long hiatus. Bought a brand new Versus X 300.
So far put only 100 miles on it.

Clutch seems to engage very far out. Almost at the end. Anyone knows if there is a remedy for it?

These bikes thrive on revs and are well proven and reliable - straight out of the Ninja 300.

Please ignore the 4,000 rpm/1000km stated running in procedure. You will end up lugging the bike which is much worse for it.
This same 4,000rpm/1000km rule seems to be automatically inserted into EVERY Kawasaki user manual.

Great! Thank you. Will definitely check them out.
As far as side stand pads :( I wish seen those earlier. Already got me (overpriced) one.

For some reason Kawi does that w/ MOST of their bikes:

loosen the clutch-cable adjuster (on the left-side grip-perch), then TURN it IN to around a 1/4" of threads showing, then give it a try. Your "clutch engage/disengage" point should NOW be about an inch out from your handle-bars.
