Bought a new left over 2017 Versys 300X about a month ago. Didn’t go into the dealership looking for a new bike, but when they told me it was “on sale” for $3,650.00 with the Kawasaki saddle bags, I bought it on the spot. The 300 is everything I had hoped for in a lightweight adv bike. Even after 50 years in the saddle, this bike speaks my language. The only issue I have had in the first 1,400 miles is that the saddlebag lock tumblers both fell out and are long gone. The 300 has very fine vibration from six to twelve thousand rpm and that caused the screws holding the tumbler to back out. No locktite on the screws. The dealer looked up the bags and although the computer shows the lick assembly, there is no part number. It is entirely possible (according to the service manager) that Kawasaki will send new bags! Has this happened to anyone else?

Welcome aboard! Yeah, those non-ABS models were being practically given away. My leftover ABS model had a good deal on it, but not a steal like yours!
