I was in a similar situation. Coming off of the dirt because I didn't have the time to go out and ride but still wanted to be on 2 wheels.

So far, so good. The riding position is perfect and I don't have a problem hanging with my buddy on his cbr600. He'll dust me above 90, but I at least look like I'm trying up to that point.

It passed through his mind a couple of times to go buy another. (I hope he doesn't because he needs to carry my purse and other accessories!)
!
LOL my versys is required to cart my wifes gear as she can't put that much in her saddle bags of her C50 Boulavard but I refuse to cart the hair staightner thingy:yeahsmile:

Not new to riding, but new to street riding. (always had my own off road and have spent plenty of time in the back seat on the street)
Yes, I am enrolled in a safety class.
Is this the bike for me? I like the posture and I really like the reviews. I just don't want to get "too much" bike for me.

The Versys 650 is an easy bike to ride. A great learners bike,
but also loved by this very very experienced motorcyclist.

Thanks Ohio, for the heads up.

It was after I posted I saw the date of the OP
and thought... I'm a gallah!

I followed a link provided by "Recommended Reading"
to get to the thread and of course didn't look at the date of the OP:rolleyes:
