Haha, i was putting on an exhaust from an 06 er6n i bought off ebay. The exhaust was wrecked and had issues. I buffed all the scratches out and had a friend powder coat the silencer. Working on making a db killer now since it didnt come with one. Cost me $90 for the leo vince gp style, $45 for a 2014 header and $25 for packing pretty happy with it so far
Thanks, i didn't like the way it looked and they don't offer small form factor windshields for this bike. I figured id make one and buy a true touring shield later on if i felt like i needed one. Coming from dualsports and supermotos... the wind doesn't bother me at all
Pretty much the only way to increase power is to retuNE the fueling and that means abandoning emissions complience and in some cases smooth response. To get powere from an exhaust change requires a fueling change
I was just hoping it wouldn't lose much power is all. Really hoped it would stay close to stock. In my case, it hurt my bottom end torque quite a bit. If i have to retune fueling to get my bike back to where it was stock... idk if the aftermarket exhaust sound is worth all that.
So far
Rear fender eliminator (custom made powder coated flat black)
1.5" bar risers
Motech mirror extenders
12v power outlet on dash
Front seat riser (custom)
Leo vince gp style full exhaust (might throw the oem back on until i get a pcv)
Trimmed stock windscreen
Craving a little more power atm... but I always do, with every bike.
