Hello, just purchase a used 2009 Versys. I am new to motorcycles and hope to use the versys for a bit of everything. The bike is blue and in great shape....now I be purchasing some nice accessories for her.
Thanks everyone for a great welcome. I have taken the motorcycle safety course and strongly agree that is the best thing a newby to motorcycles should do.
I just ordered crash bars....cheap insurance against a newby drop. Also ordered a kickstand foot extender from motowerks (to keep the bike from sinking into the hot tar when it finally gets warm here). I've got lots of high viz ( helmet and jacket). I plan to wear my gear all the time.
Welcome from another fellow New Englander. I'm both a new member and a new Versys owner. Picked up my new 2020 650 LT about a week and a half ago. Haven't been able to ride it as much as much as I'd like yet. I just broke 250 miles yesterday so I can finally go over 55 mph! Not being able to go over 4,000 rpm for the...
Greetings. Thought I would introduce myself. I own a 2016 Versys 650 in black, and I enjoy every minute with it. I ride the backroads in northwest Washington State on the weekends with the occasional hop to the hardware store, occasional commute (pre-COVID, anyway), and lately as a vacation...
