I really like my Givi 22 cases but switch to Nelson Rigg SE-3050 soft bags depending on use/terrain.

@Sock Puppet, I have the same Nelson Rigg soft bags, but haven't ridden anywhere with them yet. Do you use those backers, when you have yours on? Also, do you use the internal stiffeners all the time, with those?

Yes, I use the backers but they aren't strictly necessary with the Givi racks. Yep, I leave the stiffeners in when the bags are on the bike. If I want less storage I'll remove the saddlebags and use tailbag.
