What will be with the catalyst if in the muffler body there will be a water (at journey through a deep pool or ford)?

From what I have read from people that have ridden through deep water it should be fine as long as you keep the engine running.

The muffler has a drain built into it. It's there for getting rid of condensation, but I'm sure it would work for other water. There is a thread on this subject somewhere on this sight.

I remember when they were introducing the Buell Ullysses they had one stop mid-stream with the muffler underwater, kill the engine, and then start it again full of water.
I don't think it's that big of a deal.
I also don't think Axel Foley can stop a V8 with a banana.
