While I was watching the IOMTT I saw a Hyundai commercial where a woman put on her left turn signal to tell motorcycles to pass her.
WTF?
That's not what turn signals are for.
In the commercial she was closely following another slow vehicle; she made the motorcycles pass both her and the other vehicle at the same time. 🥲
If she wanted to make it safer for the motorcycles, she should have slowed down and put a big gap between her and the vehicle in front of her, allowing the motorcycles to pass one vehicle at a time. Not for nothing, but if she wasn't going to pass the vehicle she was following, she should not have been so close to it.
I just reread what I wrote in this post and then read it again. Is what I wrote really what I saw in the commercial?
I saw the commercial yesterday and then when it came on today, I rewound and played it over, 3 times. I still have a hard time believing that's what I saw, but in my defense, I've always have had a hard time accepting stupid.
