I love market choice and variety and the innovation that competition brings, but if I can't buy parts for it off Partzilla I don't want it in my stable. It's already like pulling teeth getting Harley parts, throw an ocean in there for added wait time and I'm definitely out. My buddy races an Aprilia and it's sometimes 3-months for something as simple as a wrist pin clip.

give these people a shout and see if they can help, they're not a dealer and been around for almost 50 years. Been a long time since I've been in (born & raised in OKC) but they use to have enough to build a bike and did build them.

Thanks for the lead, now point me to an online parts diagram for every model like anyone can find for Jap bikes, lol!

Ha Ha I worked at a Harley Stealer around 2005 for a short in the parts dept. till they tried screwing with our pay and left. They were still flipping paper pages in books doubt they've changed. Ha Ha again I made a funny, HD changing something. 😉 Oh here in Dallas is a dude for this area that's kinda like an Indian Larry, don't know if you've heard of him, builds some outrageous bike. Real down to earth. Meet him at his location, puts on functions and has an ice house. Rick Fairless, may be a source also. Strokers Dallas – It's a lifestyle

If I wanna look up a part there's ONE dealership with an online portal...submit a request, get a backdoor key via email for one quick looky-loo at their parts microfiche...as if Harley parts are whiskey, it's 1930, and this dealer is a speak-easy. I don't like that crap. Harleys are nothing special whatsoever in my book, and I don't like games.

Who makes the engine? All too often these resurrected brands use an existing engine sourced from another manufacturer. Benelli is an example of a brand that was originally Italian but was resurrected with existing engines manufactured in China.

Bookmarked. Nice find! That's relatively new. Wonder how long before Harley sues for exposing corporate secrets, lol...

They have been knocking off quite a few dealers

From what I understand, for every one American dealer that goes bust, ten more sprout up in India. Too bad the name 'Indian' is already taken...

That's not even a very good deal! Heck I paid that much walking out the door cash on my V650. "Adventure" moves units though so this will probably sell, but I agree with other posters here about longtime parts and maintenance info.
