Hello Just an Idea, if you have a friend that's mechanically skilledn have him or her make you highway pegs. I just came back from a 2300 km ride and thank God for the highway pegs I was able to strech after a few hours of riding.

Just an Idea cause I love mine.

Just my 2 bits on this issue. I am 6 ft 4 in and I found the oem seat too low and it was way too hard for long rides. The oem seat also slopes forward making it even more uncomfortable. I thought of getting the footpeg lowering kit but decided on redoing the seat altogether. Ended up with a raised seat, up to 2 inches at the front, it no longer slopes to the front and with much softer cushioning under, I can now enjoy the bike much more than before. I think the footpeg lowering kit is now not necessary. I had a car cushion shop do it for me with several rounds of testing and reshaping the seat before it got finished. Where I am in Malaysia it cost me RM180.00 (approx. USD60) to get it done. Thought it was a good deal.
