I’ve test ridden many KTMs. Don’t think I would ever own one. They push performance at the cost of reliability. The 390 is a toy compared with the 790.

I've owned two. They were 100% reliable BUT I followed the maintenance schedule. They require much more routine maintenance than the Japanese bikes. As I aged, the maintenance to ride ratio was higher than I wanted.

I know way too many riders who lost the fuel pump out in the boonies. I see them in the same vane as high end luxury cars. Trade as soon as the warranty expires.
