I removed a lowering kit from a Kawasaki Versys I purchased used last fall. Now the bike seems to lean over excessively on the kick stand. I would greatly appreciate it if someone with an unmodified kick stand could measure the length of theirs and post. I'm trying to determine if mine has been shortened or not.

2015 650. Mine was 13" long from bolt holes to the very bottom. I shortened it to 11 3/4" after I installed the Motowerks lowering kit and had the foot rewelded on. My bike leaned 16.3 degrees before with the longer stand at stock height and 16.8 degrees after lowering it with the shorter stand. I checked the angle using a protractor app on my phone. Hope this helps..

i dont think id mind.... my bobber leans over well past the 45*mark and its never fallen over... i have to pull my kickstand outward to get the versys to lean over enuff for me to not worry about it falling the other way
