The stock Versys-X 300 seat is fairly low and hard.
Happily, the previous owner of the Versys-X I bought had fitted a genuine Kawasaki Ergo-Fit Extended Reach Seat. And it works!
I too am 6 ft (180 cm tall). I find the Ergo-Fit Extended Reach Seat to be very comfortable and have no discomfort between gas stops.
For taller riders, I would recommend the combination of this seat + lower footpegs, for greater touring comfort.
