Yesterday I rode down to Arkansas. Beautiful country. Other than being damned hot it was a smooth ride. I camped at Horsehead Lake. It’s a nice campground, clean and fairly quiet. Fished a little bit but didn’t have any luck.

Today I left Horsehead Lake and rode 50 miles to Hawksbill Crag. The ride was perfect! Lots of twists and turns. There’s a 7 mile gravel road to get to the trail which was super fun. I really enjoyed that part. Hawksbill Crag is at the end of the Whitaker Point Trail. It’s a 3 mile hike round trip. I met several nice people coming and going. Stopping for lunch then heading to White Oak Lake State Park.
