Was wondering if anyone has noticed the gas tank is a bit on the warm side. Wanted something to keep the heat off the inner thighs. Only thing I鈥檝e found are traction pads. Don鈥檛 think it has much insulation.
Any ideas?
Thanks

I don't think it's the tank that's getting hot, its that the engine heat is coming right up through that area. My Olympia mesh riding pants have protection in that area and you don't even feel the heat coming off the engine. On hot summer days it's cooler wearing those pants over jeans rather than just jeans alone. I'm not sure you'll get anything to put on the bike to keep that heat down.

Thanks for the info. I agree it鈥檚 the engine heat. Riding in Tampa/St. Pete the temp is easily 95+ and humidity to match. Not an issue when moving, but man those stop lights are INSANE!!!!
Thanks again.
