Why did this guy even upload this. Once the wind screen got splattered you couldn't see much. Your right though it sure like it was a washboard finish on that road.

Reducing the preload and damping to nothing will give you a great ride and much increased speeds on this type of road but kill the on pavement stability of the bike - it floats/pogos in high speed turns with soft suspension on pavement. With the suspension correctly set up for pavement the V is no more capable/incapable than a similar sized sport tour bike like say the Ninja 650 for these types of conditions.

Some may disagree, but IMO the V, at least in stock configuration is not an adventure bike, it just looks like one.
