I was thinking about bikes I have owned over the years, and one which I thought was ahead of its time was the Honda Transalp. I had a 600 and it was a great motorcycle. Other than the BMW's GS series, it was the only other muti-use motorcycle at the time. It seems like Honda is frequently ahead of the curve, and then moves on.

That is so interesting, never heard of the Honda Translap. As Dave said, a bike ahead of it's time!
