I had wanted some for awhile and a few weeks ago our
dealer had a swap meet where I picked up a set of Harley
pegs for $4. The square tubing is 3/4"X22", 3/8" bolts
attach the pegs to the tubing, the U-bolts are 3/4".
here are the photo's

They worked well on the way home from my buddy's shop ( he has
a nice milling machine), I disassembled them and am prepping to paint.
They could be made with a hacksaw and a drill pretty easy.

Didn't someone else do this once and found out that the front tire can hit the bar?
Thanks prim8, you raised a valid point. I set the bike up
and ratcheted the front down as far as I could. The way
that I have it attached causes no problem.

Thanks again.

final instalation

They're very solid and I can move them in or out with my toe.
My old knee's need a change in position and these do the job.

Yes, that was me. It seems however that the OP's setup is much closer to the radiator and also higher up so I reckon it should be ok for normal street riding without the big potholes we have here in Thailand :)
