Hello all,

I'm working on a high front fender mount for the X300. It is a very solid approach that is super easy to install (i.e., bolt on solid milled aluminum, no sheet metal straps). The design was pretty much ready for testing when I realized it needed to be able to clear crash bars that connect under the chin.

If you have the Givi or Kawasaki crash bars please let me know how far below the chin the extend and where that low point is in relation to the tip of the chin.

I may offer two kits to maximize clearance for those that have the SW Motech crash bars or no crash bars (but that seems unlikely for someone who needs a high fender).

Is this kit available yet? The site says it's coming soon, but this post is almost a year old. Looks pretty cool!

...Is the riser even needed for the Shinko E704 tire (stock size)?....
Altho' a lot of guys raise their front fenders, UNLESS there's a clearance issue requiring it be raised, it's usually only necessary if you run in lots of mud so it won't 'build-up' and stop your front wheel.
